Solo can replace
your existing boiler with a new energy efficient
condensing boiler.
A modern condensing
boiler works by burning gas to heat water in a
heat exchanger. Waste heat that would normally
be lost through the flue is then re used to get
every last amount of energy possible out of the
gas. Because of this cooling effect the end product
looks like condensation pluming out of the flue.
We find in
many cases, peoples budgets will not stretch to
go 100% renewable energies.
This is why
Solo Heating Installations will recommend a gas
condensing boiler as a suitable alternative because
of its relative low installation and running costs.
Remember gas prices are increasing at an alarming
rate, and as they continue to do so alternative
energy payback periods are reducing dramatically.
Future proofing your property, and becoming more
self-sufficient in the energy that you can produce
yourself will add immediate value to your home.
We
can offer services including:
- Replacement boilers -
boiler 'changeovers'
- Landlords safety checks
- New condensing boiler
system for self-builders or developers.
- Integration with green
technologies installed by Solo.
All
gas condensing boilers are graded by the Seasonal
Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the UK or SEDBUK.
It is part of the Building Regulations Part L
that you must install a boiler of level B or above.
As condensing boilers are the only type that
can achieve levels B and above, for now they are
the only boilers you can install.
Solo Heating Installations recommend Vaillant
or Worcester boilers for their new and replacement
systems. They are all band A and have exceptional
build quality and longevity.
Gas condensing
boilers are recommended by the Energy Savings
Trust.
