This is the most common system by Solo Heating Installations. It consists of a gas condensing boiler and a pressurised hot water cylinder.

The hot water cylinder provides a store of hot water in your home for users to draw-off, and because it all runs off the mains pressure to your home, you can experience high pressure showers. They are also very well insulated and contain high performance heating coils inside them. These coils mean a full cylinder of hot water is available around every 15 minutes, opposed to the conventional cylinder at around 60 minutes.

The condensing boilers are at present the most efficient units available and are in the region of 92% efficient. Combined with certain controls they will provide a cost efficient installation method and a fairly low running cost.

What will these systems cost?

Prices for a condensing boiler and unvented hot water cylinder installation will cost between £5,000 and £7,500.

That would include the boiler, cylinder, controls, radiators and pipework necessary for the system.
