Wood
Burning Stove
Wood
burning stoves are an exciting and popular way
to heat anything from one room to an entire house.
They create excellent focal points in any room
and can range from classical styles to ultra modern
designs.
Integration to
other heat devices such as renewable energies
is simple via the use of thermal stores and buffer
tanks. When surplus heat from the wood burning
stove is available, controls and thermostats allow
coils within the unit to take heated water to
the thermal store or water tank.
Because wood is
an extremely environmentally friendly heating
method, use of these systems is becoming the norm
in new build homes as they are easy to install.
Some log burning
stoves will require air intakes from the outside
to supply air for combustion. Always bear this
in mind at the design stage of your build. In
any case, we will advise on system design of the
log burning stove.
The
thermal store that we supply and / or install
is the NIBE
VPAS thermal store cylinder. This will allow
a wood burning stove to be docked to the hot water
heating system. The wood burning stove connects
into the separate coil in the thermal store cylinder.
You can now buy one of these cylinders on-line
here; or if your looking for installation
rather than supply only please get
in touch.
