Launches Hole In The Roof
Campaign
The Heating and Hot Water
Industry Council have Launched
the Hole In The Roof Campaign
to try to raise awareness
of energy efficiency, and
educate in the measures homeowners
can take in order to reduce
energy wasteage in the home.
The Hole In The Roof Campaign
have launched an interactive
website, with information
and even an animation to try
to help homeowners understand
more about energy efficiency.

2012 - Phase 2 of Premium
Payment Scheme Confirmed
The Premium Payment Scheme
as set up by the government
to bridge the time gap between
the old LCBB grants and the
Renewable Heat Incentive,
has been re-affirmed for a
phase 2. This will allow homeonwers
to receive installation grants
for the renewable systems
going in between now and when
the RHI scheme begins later
this year.

2011 - Commercial RHI Scheme
Begins
The Renewable Heat Incentive
Scheme for commercial systems
is now up and running, with
very generous paybacks based
on the Kw output of the heat
pump appliance. With many
systems benefiting from 4.3p
per kwh produced, heat pump
systems will be moving from
strength to strength in 2012.
August
2011 - Heat Pump Grants Available
The Government has released
details on coupon grants for
air / ground source heat pumps
and solar thermal installations.
These will bridge the time
between the Renewable Heat
Incentive (RHI) grants that
come into force next year.
Solo Heating Installations
are MCS Accredited installers
and so are able to get you
as the customer the installation
grants.

2011 - Danfoss Advanced Accredited
Installers
Solo Heating Installations
are now Danfoss Heat Pump
Level 2 Advanced Registered
Installers. This scope of
works includes commercial
and public sector contracts.
